The show was amazing. Lots of Beatles music, crazy acrobatics, and awesome dancing. If you’ve never seen a Cirque du Soleil show, go. Go now. I’m serious.
Back up to Lunch
Mat got a turkey burger for a late lunch by the pool and I had a few bites of it. And more than a few fries…
It was perfect to hold us over until dinner. Since the show was at 7 and we had to walk a mile through crowds to get there, we were planning for a late dinner afterward.
After the show we went back to our hotel to get dinner. After wandering a little (me with very sore feet-I wore wedges assuming they’d be easier for walking than heels, and they were, but my feet must have swollen up because they were digging in to my skin like crazy) we settled on Cafe Vettro. It was reasonably priced (relatively speaking) and had good options.
We were excited to eat!
Mat had a grilled vegetable burrito and I had the margherita pizza. We shared a salad to start and had a little of the bread basket.
My empty salad bowl:
I ate half of it and took the rest back to the room to have for lunch tomorrow. Saves money! I’ve wanted to go to Serendipity 3 for a while and it’s not cheap, so hopefully we can manage it tomorrow.
Now it’s time for wine, chocolate, and reading. We’re such homebodies. 🙂
P.S. Hi Steph!!
