Summer Breakfasts are the Best

They seriously are.  Not only are they more relaxed than scarfing something down before the bell rings at school, but there’s so much good summer fruit!

cottage cheese, greek yogurt, granola, honey, sliced strawberries, and a peach

I’m sort of weird – I like to mix up the cottage cheese, yogurt, granola, and honey first and then plop all the fruit on top.  Why, you ask?  Because when I mix the fruit in I always end up digging it out and eating it first.  I LOVE summer fruits and berries (there’s half of a cantaloupe already cut in the fridge – it takes a lot of self-control to not scarf all of that down by myself when I know I need to save it for dinner) but I also love the tangy/sweet combo of cottage cheese and greek yogurt with granola and honey.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again.  It’s the perfect summertime meal.  Breakfast or lunch.  Heck, I’ll even eat it for dinner. It’s that good.
