Overnight Oats are the Best Thing Ever

Ok, maybe saying overnight oats are the Best Thing Ever is a tad of an overstatement, but they’re pretty darn good.


In the mix:

  • couple good smears of peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup oats
  • couple handfuls of chocolate chips (the best part!)
  • milk – enough to fill it almost to the top
  • granola

I added the granola this morning just before eating it.  The rest sat in the jar overnight and then some – I didn’t get around to eating it until around 10:30 or 11 after my run (14 miles!), shower, and getting the place cards printed for the wedding.

I also had iced coffee with milk and Hersheys and some grapes with a peach:

Best.  Breakfast.  Ever.

Last night after having the leftovers from last week’s pizza, I had a bowl of strawberries with Hersheys, a mini soy chocolate ice cream sandwich and a couple little cookies.  I had a definite sweet tooth last night!

Today’s agenda: run a ton of little errands and hopefully check the rest of the wedding stuff off my list!  I’m definitely anxious to get these last few things done!  We’re also planning to use a restaurant.com gift card for dinner – we figure we won’t feel like cooking after running errands all afternoon.  🙂
