After getting home from the baby shower yesterday afternoon, evening came upon us rather quickly.  We decided to keep dinner easy and make scrambled eggs with veggies and toast (using Mat’s mom’s yummy homemade jam!).  And we had wine, but just a glass each.

I love breakfast for dinner.  The simplicity of it is just so lovely sometimes.  I had my eggs with ketchup (I love ketchup) and a little bit of hot sauce.  I actually had 2 pieces of toast, one with strawberry jam (shown) and the other with raspberry blackberry jam.  Both were excellent.

For dessert later on, we each had a bowl of strawberries with chocolate sauce, chocolate chips, and a few girl scout cookies from the freezer.  We’re slowly working through them.

All in all, it was a good Saturday.  🙂
