My First Homemade Smoothie

After receiving a blender from my bridesmaid and best friend for 10 years Steph and her mom at my bridal shower, I’ve wanted to make my own smoothie.  Today, I finally did.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Oatmeal Smoothie (makes 2 large)

  • 3 bananas
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • ~ 1 cup milk (it’s a guess, I didn’t measure)
  • generous handful chocolate chips
  • generous scoop natural peanut butter
  • drizzle chocolate syrup
  • ice cubes

It came out quite delicious!  I’m rather proud of myself.  I have no idea how caloric it is, but it has pretty good stuff in it minus the chocolate.  But, everything is better with chocolate.  🙂

Mat devoured his in about 5 minutes.  And finished the rest from the blender.  I guess he liked it.  🙂
